The “Tell Us What You Freaking Want” Episode
Nanu Nanu everyone.
This week’s episode ran a bit long, but it’s chock full of goodies. First and foremost is our discussion of what can be added to the website. Be sure to vote on the poll to tell us which feature you wanted added to the site first. We’ll be adding them all, but the poll will help us figure out which ones people want most. AND TELL US WHAT YOU FREAKING WANT! What we came up with were only suggestions. If there’s a feature you guys can’t live without please tell us! You can listen to the episode on the player below.

As stipulated in this episode we will not be accepting emails this week, only comments that are on this post will be read on next episodes podcast. This is a temporary measure to get people using the website, and marshal law will be lifted once we are satisfied with the results.
Now it wouldn’t be a update without a youtube video. Last week I discussed with Walrus King how the Transformers cartoon hasn’t aged as gracefully as other cartoons, yet the Decipticon dialogue was still top notch. This is illustrated here in a great scene between Megaton and Starscream, with the only cringe worthy line being “You couldn’t lead androids to a picnic!” Sigh…
Get it! It sounds like ANTS! LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZ!!!

Hm… Im pretty sure thats the last episode you put up there. either that or you should really try to be more creative.
Correction. the Player is the old old episode. the one on the side is the correct one.
It’s fixed now. Damn elves…
Dear Dr. D and the Walrus King,
I love the idea of a conversation conducted through email over a period of weeks, so:
I’m fine thank you W.K.,how are you? Played any good videogames lately?
Also, if it’s at the cinema, go see the movie ‘Moon’. It’s jolly good, and has one of the Snuff Box guys in it.
sincerely,
Theremin
Dear Theremin,
I will be on vacation during the recording of this next podcast, so I’ll go ahead and take this opportunity to respond now. I’m fine, thanks for asking. I am currently playing the Sims 3, which I enjoy very much. Also, I agree. Moon is fantastic. I had the opportunity to see that one at Sundance Film Festival, but it was on the last day, so I didn’t get to meet any of the cast or crew. Hey, do you like toast?
Much Love,
TWK
I just remembered to comment my zombie plan. I know that you cant really say what a zombie can and can not do but I assume that they still have remotely human abilities and humans cant climb from the water up a smooth metal hull. perhaps they can. But then ill just kill myself anyway.
the issues I have is supplies. But if you Hijack a ship with a capacity 1500 passenger. you should have food for 15 ppl 100 days.
Dear Walrus King,
I usually have toast with either jam or nutella, but pesonally think it pales in comparison to a good sandwich or as it’s known here sometimes, a ‘butty’.
Anyway, sundance, huh? Wow. I ‘d love to go to something like that.
Say, what was you favourite film of the festival? Did you get to see Lars von Triers’ Antichrist?
ugh the English version of the PvZ ending theme sucks! Laura Shigihara (the chick that did the English song as well) did a Japanese Version with her dad and I find it hilarious! you can get it legally for free on her blog: http://shigi.wordpress.com/2009/04/02/sunflower/
Also GO PLAY THE GAME!
Why is the japanese version funnier, ojii?
Do you speak japanese?
The long awaited return of Faded Twilight is happening now, just fyi. =P
1) Thank you, Dr. Disaster, for commenting on my story, I really appreciated it, I just lost the e-mail and couldn’t respond. I know the first chapter is rather stiff, I say it’s because my writing is basically a way to get out schizophrenic tendencies. My characters weren’t actual people in the beginning, and now they control the story more than I do. Interesting topic, but very hard to explain to a non-writer.
2) I have a topic I’d like you to talk about: College. I’m a high school senior this year, and I’ve already basically picked out my colleges and applied, so it’s not really that stuff that I want you to give some advice on. It’s the actual college life. What should I be prepared for? What advice would you give yourself in hindsight?
Hey FT great to hear from you again.
Glad I could help with your story. I didn’t feel like I was helping much since I don’t consider myself a critic. You’ll probably get a lot better help once it’s submitted to a publisher.
We might go over the college life thing on air (MIGHT because I can’t figure out how to make it funny), but my biggest advice is to not think it’s a constant party like it is in the movie. As M and I said a couple episodes back, college life depicted in movies is one of the most inaccurate portrayals ever. It’s basically High School except now you get to pick your own classes, it’s not all day, and you’re away from home.
