Finally all moved in.
Yesterday I finally got everything moved into the dorms at the University of Utah. Even better news is I got my mixing board all hooked up so the audio quality will be going back up. I’ve also got all three of my game consoles set up (yes I know it’s sad) so game nights are now a definite possibility.
I’m not sure if there will be an episode next week ether since it will be my first week of school here and it gets pretty hectic. I’ll keep you guys posted if we can squeeze one in.
Now watch this video till your brain goes numb.

I Never played Kirby as a kid (So the hero is a Pink ball? Pass. my friends are already laughing at my Pokemons) and the only reason i started playing it is because of that sound track. Nintendo could have stopped making soundtracks right there because no track will ever be better than this ever in the future of gaming.
True dat. Fountain of Dreams (originally Gourmet Race) is my personal fav.
Yeah I love that tack. But the funny thing is that most of the music from that game (kirby super star) is Pure gold. Ive heard some of the Smash renditions but they try so hard to make it sound “epic” that they forget the “spirit” of the tune.
Oh… and sorry for killing the Zombie plan discussion. I make waaaay too long posts.
It just…won’t…die….oh, wait.
Well. for some reason my plan became extremely technical since its pretty much crazy at first glance. Ill send Dr. D a short version and you´ll just have to trust me that the details will work.
Eeeeh… the only multiplayer game i have for my ps3 and wii is CoD and that’s my brother’s… I can’t stand it myself… Oh and Team Fortress 2(ps3) I like that one… I’ll see about getting Smash Bros but i can’t promise anything since I’m broke >.<
*yaknowwecouldallplayWoW* Who said that??!
<..>
o.o
*runs away*
We are not playing that game I shall not mention. I was barely tolerating Osiris in the same way I tolerate Addicts but don´t come here and arrange drug parties.
And everyone knows that puzzlepirates is the best MMO ever created by man or beast and if we are going to play MMOs thats the game to play.
Aww don’t be so closed minded ^_^ You should join us o_O Join the dark side… We have [Delicious Chocolate Cake] x] It gives you a buff of being extremely happy for one hour! (Seriously thats a food in the game lolz)
Hehe I was kidding dude calm down… Thats just the first game I think of when the subject of multiplayers comes up. Then CoD4 then Smash Bros :/
Anything’s fine if you take it in moderation. When you’re logging 48 hour sessions then it’s time to peel your butt off the computer chair and discover the scary new frontier called “the outside.” WoW is bad only if you make it bad.
Dont get me wrong. Im sure WoW is a good game but it caused Blizzard to scrap a franchise of RTSs that I love. Did you know that there were other warcraft games before WoW? I DO! And WoW permanently killed them.
its like seeing the forest you used to camp in as a child being turned into a amusementpark. it might be a good amusementpark but I will still hate it because I valued the Forest more.
And Puzzlepirates is still better in every way anyway AND its free. try it and tell me its not better than F***ng WoW
http://www.puzzlepirates.com/
Of course I knew about the Warcraft games. My most favorite part of WoW is all the lore and it had to come from somewhere. Plus I’ve watched the amazing cinematics on youtube a ton of times. Reminds me of how talented the artists at Blizz are at grafix. I don’t know if you’ve seen the trailer for the next expansion yet but it actually hurt my feelings when they announced they were tearing apart all the beautiful (and sometimes annoying) zones I’d leveled through in vanilla.
So I can relate to your amusement park analogy. But what you fail to see is that the forest was destroyed. Warcraft was glorified and built upon. So it’s more like, the forest you camped in as a kid has a water slide in that little pond you used to swim in and lots of signs pointing to it saying how awesome a place it is and how it brings more people together than it ever did. Sure some stupid tourists throw trash in the pond, but if you really love something it’s selfish to keep it to yourself.
Oh, and I just don’t like strategy games ^_^ but I do love pirates! I’ll be sure to give that game a try seeing as how the servers are down for weekly maintenance.
Please understand I’m not trying to make anyone angry or start a flame war. I’m trying to say in as intelligent way as possible what a good game I think WoW is and how much it’s meant to me since I started playing it. The memories and good times I’ve had playing it are as dear to me as my memories playing my NES and N64 with my brother growing up.
Oh and I don’t think I’ve ever sat up for 48 hours straight, playing a video game or not. I have a low tolerance for sleep deprivation >.< I need 8 hours or I can't function properly. Although I'm afraid to find out how much I've played by adding up all the play times on my characters heh… I think I've played almost 200 days total on my main character since I started playing 2 years ago… I can assure you though I keep a healthy balance of real world and gamez ;]
Uh I just wrote a really long reply and I can’t see my comment >.> I wonder if it posted x.x
Doest seems like that. rewrite it. Usually Im the only one writing long ass replies.
It got sent to the spam folder on our site haha. I had to mark it as a valid comment.
I wonder why J’s overly long comments never get sent there?
Because It recognizes my genius! Thats why!
lets keep the Theme park analogy. Imagine when Walt Disney started Disneyland. Its a fun Park right? But imagine that Disney at the same time stopped making movies and focused at creating rides for the park.
Sure they might be creating new story but they will still be like rides compared to a movie. When Arthas became a death knight you got to play as him. You know why there are Blood Elves because you were the one who drained their well and made them mortals. you led the Orcs to the new lands with great effort and you saved the tree of life from hordes of demons at the great cost of men. In a MMO you will always sit on the sideline of these events if they occur at all.
I could list tons of things that are bad about WoW from a pure game mechanics standpoint but my experience with WoWers is that they want the things I think makes it a bad game.
Oh and anyone who wants to try out Puzzlepirates should make sure you are on the “Viridian” server because the other ones suck and your character cant move between servers.
Actually it’s funny you mention Arthas because there’s a quest line in Icecrown where you play as him. It starts when you find his heart beneath Icecrown Citadel and the remainder of his humanity, as represented by a child, guides you through his decent into pure evil. And it ends with Tirion Fordring wishing to confirm with his own eyes that Arthas is dead and there’s only the Lich King. Probably one of the more engrossing stories in the game, you are witness to his power by raising 100 ghouls and killing your own men and even fighting Illidan.
And it is true that you’re on the sidelines most of the time but as a hero of the Alliance or (god forbid) the Horde, there wouldn’t be a game without you. Jeez I’d like to end this discussion as soon as possible I’m starting to sound like a role player >.<
And I resent your comment spam detector! I thought my argument was well thought out and valid :[
Correct me if I'm wrong J, but it sounds like you've never even tried playing WoW. It's wrong to judge something without giving it a chance for it to give you an actual reason to hate it
There should be a term for that… Like Gameism…
I have a question regarding the Arthas quest that pretty much is my problem with WoW-type MMOs. How many game hours was required to do that/what level was that?
The problem with bashing games you don’t want to play is that people pretty much force you to get the game before you can say something bad about it. The Paradox of that is that you must be a player in order to argue against it wich is something that you don’t have to in any other discussion. Ive read about WoW and listened to peoples issues with as well as peoples defence (and the defenses are usually a part of the problems). I’m not trying meth but I can tell you whats wrong with it.
The basic problem with it is that people top argument For the game is pretty much the sense of community and the sense of being a small part in a larger story. That applies to every single MMO so what they like is MMOs.
The reason they play WoW in particular is because of marketing. Lets just say that ill be using all my Free Sample CDs for pretty much all my constructions when the zombie apocalypse comes.
My Point in the whole thing is that there are games that does the same things as WoW that are much cheaper and dont have the same Bullshit that WoW makes you put up with.
Questions that needs to be asked:
-Why do you need to walk everywhere you go? there is no physical hindrance that stops you from being where you want to be.
-How does Level Relate to skill and what function does Experience points have.
-what is the point of killing 60 boars
These are questions that Ive never read a good answer that is not negative towards WoW.
God dammit why do they always end up so long >_<
This is why I cant send in a Zombie Plan!
Additional question. Why cant everyone use all weapons?
