Episode XC: 3P Talk!

After editing this podcast I realized there’s some things you probably need to know to understand some of the jokes and discussions. Here’s some things to remember:
- Sonic hasn’t had a good game in about 10 years.
- Ray has a hard time sketching things.
- Roger Ebert has cancer.
- Tim hated the movie UP. I know what a freak.

There. Now you can get all the jokes. This week I was joined by Tim and Ray from 2P Start. The episode turned out awesome if I do say so myself. The interview is really enjoyable to listen to and I was able to actually make the background music match what we were talking about in this episode. I think need to stick to Nintendo games and Star Wars for the rest of our discussions from here on out. That way the music will always match.
Be sure to listen to hear Tim and Ray discuss how they met and started the comic, what goes into making a good comic, good games and bad games, and of course one of Ray’s trademark Sonic rants. Man it felt good to get in on one of those. Oh and Walrus King quit. But that’s fine. I never liked him anyway.
And now the final results of poll…IT’S GODZILLA!
Although we didn’t announce it in the episode (time paradox, don’t ask questions), Walrus King and I will be recording an audio commentary track for the 1998 “classic” Godzilla. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaly not looking foreward to it. But hey FT hit her goal so we’re doing our part. We’ll also be video taping it and editing together the best bits and reations from us. Gotta say out of all the options I thought this one would come in dead last. Evidently you guys love shattering childhood memories.
Lastly here’s the video mentioned in the episode. FAIL. Proof that you don’t need hunks of plastic to make the game better.

You know, I always did wonder why The Walrus King didn’t get to be in on any of the interviews… I feel kind of bad for him.
the real reason i’m not in any of the interviews this far: my work schedule is usually such that i am unable to work it out. also, my inability to remain professional. and the biting. i really need to stop biting the people we interview.

And I want a re-vote on the charity thing! I don’t think people understand how hilarious it would be to see Dr. D play a horror game.
If he reacts anything close to the way I do to horror games (And it sounds like he does) we are up for something funny.
Well, J, I want to change my vote from the horror game to the Godzilla, so I suppose it cancels itself out (if you voted for Godzilla).
Also, can I quickly talk about height, as I suppose it was mentioned in the episode so it’s all cool. Basically, I am also freakishly tall, being 6’3″ and still having quite a bit of growth left in me. If you’re freakishly tall, then you’ll recognize what I’m about to talk about. If not, then please take heed.
If you know someone who is tall, or you meet someone who is tall, ONE FREAKING COMMENT IS ENOUGH! Whatever you say, they have heard it before. Don’t even try to complement them. No, you do not wish you were that tall, as the only thing people talk about to you is your height! Whenever I tell people this, they don’t even get the hint, and carry on talking about it! There is nothing original you can say about it! Nothing! So yeah, one comment, such as ‘Oh, you’re rather tall’, is fine. Any more than that, and BAM! I hate you. I even made this graph the other day to illustrate it.

Hey Ollie how’s the weather up there?
You should be happy that your tall. Short people get the exact same amount of comments but they also cant reach stuff and people bump into to you. being tall have all the advantages except people staying that you are tall. There are several statistics that shows that height stands in direct relation to pay. the taller you are the easier it is to get a promotion as well as raises.
Yeah, I gotta agree… I don’t think you’d wanna go from being 6′ 3″ to 5′ 2″

That would be 160 cm in real measurements right? That is short. I get uncomfortable when talking to short people because it is the most unflattering angle ever.
