Happy Halloween from Villainy INC!

Happy Halloween from everyone involved at Villainy INC. We hope you have a fun time trick or treating and being told your sailor moon costume is inappropriate. Also watch out for the candy with the razor blades hidden in them. Those suck. And the boogie man. That guy’s a dick.

Also be sure to send in pictures of you guys in your Halloween costumes. We’ll be sure to put them on the site!

Happy Halloween to everyone! Hope your’s gonna be more halloweeny than mine (which will probably be: coding, maybe watching a movie or some series, more coding, surfing the nets, geeky stuff). No good party in town which i could go to :( No trick or treating :( Halloween sucks!

Uninvited at the last minute, curling up with Brutal Legend nsted, Happy Halloween, Villains!

  3. Joshua J Steinberg says:

what? you cant un-invite people. You can cancel a party but once a invitation has been made you cant retract it. Its like with vampires. They cant enter unless invited but once you do you are fucked.

Going to party now. I’m going with my cheap ass pirate outfit again. I really want to get some cool boots and stuff for it but what I lack in costume I make up for by being in character.
    yarr

just found out that a friend of mine throws a hallloween party! NEXT WEEK! wtf? Anyway me and a friend got the best costumes, we gonna go as each other. (yes in fact none of us will do anything but we’ll pretend being the other, best costume ever!)

  5. Caroline says:

Yeeeah, can’t say my Halloween was all that great. I was planning on dressing up as the pokemon Pilup, but for various reasons ended up not having the time. So I went to lame college parties without a costume and had everybody ask “Ugh, why aren’t you in a costume?”

And now I will watch movies alone.

  6. Joshua J Steinberg says:

That is why you should start planning now for next year.

  7. Ollie says:

Well, mine’s been spent recording a podcast, going to a halloween party that was 5-9pm, which was slightly lame but pretty cool, then going back to mine and watching The Blues Brothers and playing Gears 2 with a friend. And tea. Lots of tea.

I went in an old M&M outfit we’ve had for years, but didn’t get any pictures. Sorry.

  8. Ollie says:

Also, can I add that playing Gears of War 2 doesn’t mean literally just playing it. To get the full experience, you have to keep talking about how manly it all is (especially the chainsaw duels), make manly grunting noises, and pound your chest every now and again. That’s how you actually play it.

  9. Joshua J Steinberg says:

And I wouldn’t want to play it any other way.

    Trivia from Sweden:
Halloween coincides with the catholic holiday “day of all saints” dedicated to all saints that did not have their own day. now for those who care about different religions will know that Sweden is a protestant country that don’t celebrate saints but the day have been transformed into a day to remember those who have passed away. that is celebrated by lighting candles at the graveyard as well as lighting candles and fires at home.
long story short: I made a bonfire(is that what you call it) in the yard and now I smell like a forest fire…

  10. Joshua J Steinberg says:

and whats the link for the podcast. (don’t feel threatened Dr. D I think its important to have a open relationship and see other people)

  11. Ollie says:

It’s the YargleBlurbleCast (or YBCast for short), J. One of my first emails into Villainy Inc. was asking for tips about podcasting. We’re a so-called ‘comedy podcast’, although we’re still trying to find our feat and be consistantly funny. Our website is www.ybcast.com
Mwahaha, I am the king of shameless self-advertising!

  12. Joshua J Steinberg says:

And my Google reader have a new subscription.
If I would listen to one episode which one would you want me to listen too?

And who is giving this bad ratings? If you have a problem just say it?
There is nothing wrong with asking for the link in this case since Dr. D have already approved by plugging it on the show to begin with. I just didnt want to look trough 15 episodes to find it.

  13. Ollie says:

The very latest one was alright, I suppose. Just don’t listen to the first one, as it’s the audio equivilant of vomit.
Also, I didn’t know we were getting bad ratings… Basically, we often go off on tangents, which isn’t bad in itself, but they’re often a bit boring and uninteresting. Anyway, hopefully we’ll eventually learn more stuff about having a good podcast as we progress.

  14. Joshua J Steinberg says:

well generally I think thats what the rating system is for really. seems a bit passive aggressive for my taste. Im a fan of the active aggressive approach as you might have noticed.

well I listened to the 2nd one you made since the first one wasn’t in the rss-feed (I wanted to hear this Will fellow since you basically threw him in front of the bus) and I will listen to the latest one now and Ill post a comment on your site when I’m done (I actually did post one already but not about the podcast :-P ).

  15. ojii says:

Downloading the podcast as I type.

  16. Texastechie says:

Meh I didn’t end up going out this year and I live in the middle of nowhere so no trick or treaters of course… So I didn’t dress up either :[ Guess I’ll save the emo costume for next year.

    Great episode btw <3

  17. Texastechie says:

Oh but I did enter a pumpkin into the Halolz carving contest. It didn’t win of course, it was just a little achievement pumpkin that I really should’ve done over but still, that’s something Halloweeny…

  18. Sir Michael says:

It is I, Sir Michael, giving out most (all) the ratings that you may or may not see.
I know getting 1 star and/or a thumbs down sucks, but so do some of your comments.
If you’d like to know which comment(s) I think sucked, please refer to the rating of which the comment has. If your comment has no rating, then that probably means I didn’t read it or I didn’t care what it said.
There’s really no offense, it’s just business.
Anyway; thank you all for listening, contributing, reading and writing, and have a good Morning/Day/Evening/Night.

    Sir Michael the Great.

  19. Joshua J Steinberg says:

Well I am Sorry that my post don’t hold up to your standards. Im just going to take my business else where, sorry to be a bother.

  20. Texastechie says:

Yay I got 5 stars <3 Sir Michael, I shall make it so that a pie mysteriously appears on your desk on the morrow! Pleasure doing business with you, Good Sir.

  21. Dr. Disaster says:

Be sure to send in your pumpkin carving so we can put it up on the site. I’ll be uploading the pictures of me and WK in our costumes.

  22. Sir Michael says:

You will find that I am a generous God..
Where society would demand that you stand, I.. only ask that you to kneel.

  23. Ollie says:

Unforunately we didn’t get a pumpkin this year, as most of us weren’t at home in the evening, and we never really get any trick-or-treaters.
I went in a really old M&M outfit we have, but didn’t get any pictures. Sorry.
