Episode XCIII: Web of Lies

New Episode

This week we discussed things of merriment. Okay it’s the same old crap but it’s still fun. Topics include mail from a new and a veteran listener, podcast naughtiness levels, Mother 3, and the Citizen Kane of gaming. Also spambot love. Huzzahs all around.

Oh and Walrus King didn’t announce his song for the song break this week so it’s a mystery. I couldn’t jimmy his announcement in without breaking the flow of the episode so I left it out. Helps when you’re the one with the scissors bitch.

OH! And here’s the link for the fan translation for Mother 3. They did a really good on it and Starmen.net is a great site in general for all your Earthbound needs.

As promised here is the short film Leap of Faith. I made this for a production class about a year and a half ago. And yes, that is the one and only Osiris as the lead. Sir Michael and I also make cameos mid way through. While I’m usually never really happy with my work, I really enjoyed how this one turned out. When I show this short to gamers they tell me how much they liked the humor because they could relate to the story. You won’t be surprised to hear that this short was based on actual events. Hope you like it!

I remeber the episode that had a lot of information about the movie, with Osiris.

  2. Texastechie says:

Cool movie… You should send it to Halolz and see if they’ll post it! The only negative(ish) thing I can say about it is the headband should’ve been like the Afro Samurai Number One Headband :P

  3. Sir Michael says:

Hahaha, oh God. That sexy monster in the middle is me.. Yeah, the Edward Scissorhands. Dr. Disaster somehow convinced me to be filmed at 3 in the morning, which explains why I look like complete crap.
There was no acting done by me, I was legitimately bored, tired, and pissed off in the 30seconds of filming. I have to give Props to the Doctor for being in the right place at the right time.
Oh, and that girl next to me? Don’t ask about her, she’s dead.. She fell off a cliff and her head rolled off.

OH! And also about the Podcast. As stated by Dr. Disaster he likes to be in charge and selfishly demands all the rights to editing every single episode all by himself without listening to any of my, or The Walrus Kings, requests in editing. I was actually in this episode and the Doctor got a little too happy with his cutting tool and decided to just cut me out of it entirely!
Do you guys think that’s nice, or fair? Don’t you guys want to hear Sir Michael’s beautiful voice again? Well The Doctor seems it unwise to let my voice be heard because he thinks I cause too much of a “Ruckus” and it “draws attention away from the REAL host(himself)”
Well, there’s not much I can do about it, but you guys can! Rise up against the tyrannical Dr. Disaster and demand that Sir Michael be handed back the Microphone of DOOM! Or don’t, if you like things the way they are.
    :)

Hey, just got back from the hospital after having my head thrown through the windshield on the bus, breaking the windshield. Check for my e-mail in spam. I got the letter through there.

  5. Robert Flint says:

Take this, put in Megaman, and I am right with you.

  6. Texastechie says:

Ya know I guess I just kinda assumed the girl was M but I hadn’t really thought about it before now >.>

  7. Dr. Disaster says:

Haha I somehow managed to beat Megaman 9 last year and I haven’t be able to do it since. That game is brutally difficult.

By the way welcome to the comments Robert!

  8. Ollie says:

You do realize that if this whole ‘comments thing’ gets too popular I’m gonna go all Indie on yo ass, don’t you?

Anyway, gravy episode. I shall waatch the video now(-ish).
