New episode in the right hand player. Thought we’d give you all a nice Christmas present this week. Give it a listen to find out who it is. Once again this was months of planning. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice to see Osiris back. I think its good for the show when you mix it up with different people.
It was rather funny how Osiris started giggling like a school boy over All-in-one asian.
I understand that Dr. D didnt find the OD story funny but I can see where Osiris was coming from. I guess it the kind of story thats only funny when it happens to other people.
Also regarding Osiris music choice. I didnt know Nickelback wrote songs for other bands.
And finally the game thing (Osiris promised a separate thread about that but Im posting here instead since he probably wont do it.)
I have a couple of those.
Prince of Persia sands of time. I think it was a part where you went trough the barracks. I think I played that scene 20 times until I just quit. There wasn’t even a boss or anything. It was just a mediocre middle room with enemies and they killed me in the most humiliating ways. I pretty much did the Osiris training montage with the charts. I had a full coordination plan and every single time a enemy pinned me to the floor and beat me to a pulp.
“Daddy you promised us a website” made me LOL IRL
How the heck does osiris have a girlfriend and I don’t? I suspect he’s lying! All he ever does is play WoW and tell boring pointless stories about IKEA!
BTW: nice to have the whipping boy back so he can actually see how much we despise him, so much better to rant about someone when he actually reads it!
Wow, Osiris must’ve spent the months in a monastry, he’s way less annoying.
Or, EVEN better. (Think positive, Osiris).
Also, is it just me, or are Dr. D’s impressions becoming very Smodcast-like?

I hated you. I despised you when you first came on the program. I always resented you and wanted to nitpick at EVERYTHING you did and said on this podcast. I never knew the reason why, but I knew I hated you. You had replaced my Sir Michael. I couldn’t open up, I couldn’t let you know that you were actually a good host. I could only find things wrong.
And then you left, and I realized all along that I really loved you! I couldn’t tell you then, because you left, completely and totally. I had missed my chance. I stayed awake for days, knowing I had only done myself harm by never truly opening up and accepting you as a real host.
And now that I hear your lovely voice, I just had to say you’re a good host and I missed you.

And yes, the daddy analogy makes this humurously and creepily phrased comment even MORE creepy. Savor it, marinate in the awkward creepiness. =P
Well it’s not especially funny if that (kind of) story happend to another guy you know but didn’t have a “happy ending” like in Dr.D’s…
Now Osiris, I can understand why Dr. Disaster would not want this said on the air.
This may be me personaly, but this is sick and messed up to a guy who has attempted to end his own life premeturly.1) The reason why I intended to take a long walk down a short roof was to the fact that (almost) EVERYBODY in my 4 to 5 grade year hated me and wanted me dead due to false accusations made by an idiotic cheep prick and a retarded whore. When I made the attempted at lunch, people were cheering when I was trying to choke myself. If you are olny like 10 or 11 and you hear people saying that they want you to die, that is more messed up than the IKEA story combined with the basis of Majora’s Mask combined, will want you to immagine those people as the targets in the Modern Warfare 2 level “No Russian.” 2) With the kind of mindset of this “Ted” the olny other thing that could have happened was a school shooting if he wanted to drag as many people with him to hell. You all got off lucky that nobody died.
Please note that I will still listen to the show, even if Osiris guest hosts, but think about it if you were him in that position.
i agree with pridak, there’s really nothing “funny” about this story!
1. As part of the female listenership, I’m going to point out that I can’t stand Twilight and think it’s hilarious when you make fun of it on the show. Also, I can’t speak for Faded Twilight, but I believe there was one episode where she wrote in saying that she also dislikes it. Hearing you talk about the Rifftrax makes me reeeally want to watch it with that, since MST3K is one of my all time favorite shows.
2. I’m gonna have to agree with Dr. D and say that the suicide story really isn’t funny. It’s a stretch to justify the humor the way Osiris did, but even then… This is a person trying to end their life, I don’t really see how he can think it’s funny just based on the subject matter, but oh well. I only laughed a little in disbelief that Osiris found it funny xD
3. Despite that, I still do like you Osiris! Come back again!
Hmm. At first I was all ‘Hey, Osiris is back. Damn’, Ias I’d listened to some past episodes and not really thought much of him. Then, as the episode progressed, I thought ‘Hey, he’s actually alright. Crappy musical taste, but alright.’
Then there was the end. Oh, the end. How anyone could ever find that funny is beyond me. I don’t know if it’s a personal thing seeing as I reckon I’m clinically depressed (either that or I’ve had the blues for the past year and a half), but it just wasn’t funny. What was slightly funny was Osiris’ attempts to desperately cling on to his integrety at the end after realising that maybe people wouldn’t like the story.
I don’t know what’s wrong with The WK and why you keep trying to get back old people. The WK doesn’t think attempted suicide makes a good story. Oh well.The rest of it was alright. It just kind of ended on a downer.
Also, I’ll try and record you an audio email sometime.

Personally, I have been close to suicide. I would have done it if I actually had the guts to do it, which I didn’t. Which made me more depresssed and more suicidal than before. It really sucked.
And I found the story very funny. It wouldn’t have been funny if it hadn’t turned out all right, but since he recovered, I think it’s humorous. But then again, I write a story about a sex demon who goes around brutally murdering people, so my definition of “humor” has been warped considerably.
p.s. and no, the story isn’t as bad as you think it would be… I know, it sounds like bad porn, but it’s not.
I kind of want to read that story now.
(And I’m also no stranger to suicidal tendencies.)
Oh yeah I forgot to mention the twilight thing as well… I went through a very brief twilight phase which ended shortly after the movie came out and I realized that Dr D and Osiris were right all along about the creepiness of the whole thing. Unfortunately, that leaves me with a stack of books on top of my fridge that i’ll never read again and collect dust but anyway, as was stated by Fuzzy, as part of the female listenership, I have no problem with you guys rippin on twilight and that RiffTrack was the first one I ever bought
But yeah, I was very pleased with the episode, and I actually thought the story was somewhat funny because the guy was a weirdo stalker… And the story should really be on this website http://myveryworstroommate.com/

Faded Twilight, is your book out yet and what is the title?
Haha, it’s not out yet. It’s still in progress, re-drafting it because I wasn’t happy with the original short story. It’s turned into about 4 or 5 novels, and I’m still on the first one. The series will probably be called “The War of Angels” and the first book is “Inner Demons.”
Dr. Disaster has already gotten a sneak preview of my favorite part and the first chapter. I want to get it published by the time I go off to college next year.
But, I dunno, if you guys show enough interest and Dr. Disaster wouldn’t mind adding another segment of the show, we could have little snippets from the story or from Nox (the sex demon’s) life. In the first book he’s not that much of a sex demon, just a dark, shadowy, murdurous figure that torments people, it’s not until the second and third book that his actual identity as an Incubus is really shown. So, if you guys were just interested in Nox, I could just write about his life, not really the story, per-se.

Also with Engrish subtitles or better yet, with the All In One Asian saying it. Yes I know the word is not english, it is a comedic thing.
Well, while I wouldn’t mind Dr. Disaster reading them in a funny voice, I don’t want to add any more work to Dr. Disaster, I mean, he runs the show. He already has a lot on his plate. So, if he doesn’t want to read them himself, I can read them and send them in. Then all he has to do is slip it in, no work required!
I think it’s less work for Dr.D to just read something than having to think of funny stuff to talk about
Also I’d love to see how he does subtitles on a podcast

Well I’d be more than happy to read off a segment or two if you guys really wanted it. I wouldn’t want to make it a regular segment, but I’m always happy to show off the stuff you guys make.
Glad to see this episode was well recieved for the most part. It really comes crashing down at the end though doesn’t it? I kid you not the first thing out of Osiris’s mouth after I told him this story was “Dude! You have to tell that on the show!”O_O
Also at Theremin’s comment 80 pages up, good job catching the SModcast homage! Though I woudn’t call it an homage, more like blantent rip off. Osiris reminded me so much of Malcolm when I was talking with him in Toys R Us that I coundn’t help but do Kevin Smith’s impression of him. Actually I’m convinced that Osiris and Malcolm are the same person.
So osiris is a large gay bear? Ill have to change my designs now… Curse you Dr.d, Curse you.

In all honesty, I found the story funny.
