New Episodes Start This Friday

Wow that was a really long time without updating.
Woops.
I had a very good reason though. You see for those four weeks without episodes or posts I was in a vegetative state with New Super Mario Bros Wii and Zelda Spirit Tracks. I’d wake up, brush my teeth, start playing, then at the 12 hour mark go back to sleep. The awesomeness of those games kept me from updating the site (aka the Osiris excuse.) Now I’m in the same veg-state with Batman Arkham Asylum and Ratchet and Clank. Both those games rock. I AM THE NIGHT.
But now that I’m fully rested, new episodes will start going out as usual. I’ve already recorded a bunch with M, and she has even made some special artwork inspired by the episodes. You guys can expect the first new episode this Friday the 15th. It’ll be the first episode of 2010! Even though we don’t mention that since we really didn’t notice at the time of recording. Oh well.

Question about the Spirit tracks. When they ask you to yell stuff into the microphone, do you yell the things they ask you too?
I personally just hit it with my finger. I am yet to see a difference.
Anyone mind if I do my ‘Yay M’ dance now?
I’ve already done mine…
Also, I just blow into the mic when it asks you stuff. I think they have the same answers whatever you do.
I hate blowing into the mic. Now I do have extensive training in the fine art of blowing without spitting since I am a purist and play my NES games on the original console rather than Virtual Console but It does not take away the fact that I like a moron on the bus.
I say stuff into the mic because I like to pretend that I’m on a mystical quest to restore balance and order to magical land. These games only come out every couple of years so a savor them when I play them.
Also the art is not based on the Dickasode (I did seriously consider calling it “Teddy Bear’s Christmas Adventure”). It’s based on the episodes she recorded.
By the way thanks everyone for hanging with us during the hiatus. I really needed that break.

Yes, Dr. D, you have to realize, your mind is not your own anymore. WE OWN YOU. when we say 3 eps a week, we mean it.

Now, are the listeners still wanting that demonic erotica? If Dr. D ever actually responds to my e-mail about the subject, we might just get it by valentines day… >.>
Haha sorry sorry! I thought you had already sent it in, but after checking my in-box again I see you didn’t. If you send in a paragraph of your story we’ll read it the next available opportunity.
By the way Batman Arkham Asylum is AWESOME. I can’t believe how good it is. The story is worthy of being an official comic book storyline, the pacing is perfect, the action is a blast, and most of all you feel like Batman! I’ll probably write up a full recommendation later.
@Robert: 3 eps a week!?! Have mercy! You know I’d get to recording the 9th episode that month and all you’d hear is the sound of a gunshot in the background.
