The new episode is up. I couldn’t think of anything to type about it so….yeah.
It’s with M, and hilarity insues.
You can listen to it in the right hand player or listen to the copy you got off itunes. Also sorry about the audio quality. Don’t EVER record in a wide open room. Lesson learned.
Also this episode was recorded way back in the beginning of January so some things we talk about are very dated.

I listened to that commentary all the way trough! I had to realign the audio with the movie every 5 minutes due to different speeds of play.

You know, you were talking about Jiminy Cricket as an annoying conscious. Not a lot of people know this, but in the actual book, Jiminy Cricket is killed because Pinnochio gets tired of him about 2 days after getting him and throws a shoe at him. It’s actually quite funny. Too bad many people don’t read the book anymore.
Oh, and good background music, did I hear a little Animal Crossing Totakeke in there towards the end?

Another book i will read the hell out of… multiple times.
It’s a quick read, I finished it in an afternoon, and it’s a very good read. All the stories that Disney has redone are actually pretty dark, sick, twisted books. Very sad that they dummed it down and perked it up for kids.
I believe that they are for entirely different audiences.
The book was probably aimed at a much higher audience to begin with. Children entered the adult world in a much earlier age but they played with toys with a lower age limit.
The Disney version is adapted to fit a modern childhood.
If you want the movie to be like the book, you can just read the book.
I have to ask, what episode of Code Geass did M stop on? I remeber that one point when I had to stop for a minuet for my brain to process.
No, the stories were always aimed at children. They were mainly used to scare children into submission. Frankly, I think a lot of children need to read them.

And yes you heard right that is Go K.K. Rider playing in the background near the end. I usually have to make huge stretches in logic when it comes to putting background music in the show, and since we were talking about 101 Dalmatians I thought “k.k. is a dog. USE THAT.”
M stopped watching really early on. She was too lazy to commit to a whole series.
I think that when a time machine is invented eventually, someone should go back in time, capture all the children, and read all of those stories to them repeatedly. It would probably be me, tired of (non/un/in/anti)submissive children.
A little late, but regarding furries, the guys wear the bigs suits specifically…they usually either have a set of flys. or a flap, or just a straight-up crotchless suit.
And that’s how they have sex. Slowly I would have thought. Probably very hot in one of those things.
