Episode CXI: Massively Effected

New Podcast Episode

This week you’re all in for a treat. Jack Wall returns to the show for his second appearance on Villainy INC (third if you count the video podcast). Even cooler than that is he played some of his favorite tracks from Mass Effect 2 on the show and you all get to hear it. There’s even music that’s not in the actual game!

Refresh you’re music app of choice, click the link in the podcast player, or listen to it on the player below. I confound you with options.

In this episode Jack discusses what went into making the scores for Mass Effect 2 including musical inspirations, how the team collaborated, and how the music was implemented. Great stuff. There’s also some real fun moments that I don’t want to spoil.

Speaking of Mass Effect music, look what we have here? Seeing this only makes me want to play this game more!

Also as an added bonus here’s the full version of the Suicide Mission theme I found on youtube. Too awesome for words.

Episode CX: Pop Culture References

New Podcast Episode

The wait is over, Episode 110 is live on the server! Don’t worry the episode is well worth it since we covered a marathon of topics. Trololo, Star Wars, Transformers, it’s all there. Refresh your music app of choice or listen to it here.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Also we really want to start reading more listener mail and comments in our mail segment we’re renaming “The Fridge.”  As WK pointed out in the show, you guys writing into the show is like posting awesome things on our podcast fridge. We’ve always loved reading your guy’s stuff on air, so send in topics our things you find interesting for us to discuss!

Lastly here’s the video that I found in the episode and WK watched. Starts off slow but give it time. It’s worth it in the end.

New Episode Delayed

Sorry guys, but WK is having technical difficulties getting his audio to me this week. I still don’t have it, so unfortunately this week’s episode will have to be delayed. The episode will probably have to go out much later in the day Friday or Saturday (Sunday at the latest).

To help alleviate this problem in the future, do any of you guys know a good FTP program for Windows? If it’s free even better.

Episode CIX: Yu-gi-oh The Abridged Interview

New Podcast Episode

This week I’m joined by LittleKuriboh, the mastermind behind Yugioh The Abridged Series. You all must be pooping yourselves with excitement! Oh you did. Uh sorry…. go change. I’ll wait.

In this episode LittleKuriboh discusses what inspired him to make Yugioh the Abridged Series, how the show is made, and his favorite and least favorite episodes and characters. You’ll get news on the upcoming season and behind the scenes info. For instance did you know the character Yugi is based off of Yugi from the original anime? AMAZING!

It’s an hour of interview goodness. Refresh your iTunes, Zune, or listen to it here.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

And be sure to check out everything Abridged at yugiohtheabridgedseries.com. Buy T-Shirts. SPEND YOUR MONEY.

Also if you’re new to our site don’t forgot to subscribe to the podcast! Don’t worry you’ll love the show! [results may vary]

For the video this week I’m picking one of my favorite things ever to come out of Yugioh Abridged. I would play this for “So Bad it’s Good,” but that wouldn’t seem right. It would have to be for a new segment called “So Awesome it’s Rad” (oh God did I just use the word rad). Still can’t believe how closely this follows the original song. Enjoy!

Episode CVIII: Savior of the Human Race

New Podcast EpisodeSorry about the late update. I’m currently without internet and I’ll post more about this episode when I can. This one has hands down one of my favorite disscussions ever on the podcast and I’m interetested to see what you all think of it.

And yes you heard correctly. Next week we’ll have Yu-gi-oh The Abridged Series creator LittleKuriboh on our show! Commence freaking out now.

Episode CVII: Nude In Repose

New Podcast EpisodeThis week I’m joined by Sir Michael for an hour of deep probing thoughts about philosophy and religion, culminating in the deep discussion about the potentiality of the self in our post modern… oh screw it you know what we talked about. Random crap, Pokemon, Rick Rolls, and nudity. What else did you expect?

Refresh your iTunes gentlemen, and you too can listen. That or click the link in the podcast player.

I think this song fits the episode. When I think of Sir Michael, I think of this song.

Cave Story Proves the Best Things In Life are Free

Cave Story

Money can’t buy happiness. That’s because they’re giving it away for free.

If you listened to last episode you’ll know that I recently discovered Cave Story, a downloadable indie game made by one guy over the course of 5 years. The game is an A+ in every area. Gameplay, story, music, it all rocks.

Download links for the game can be found here. You can download it for Windows, Mac, and Linux. There’s also an English patch link on the page.

Do yourself a favor and give it a try. After all you’ve got nothing to lose!
