Halloween Intro Details

I’ve gotten some emails asking for details on the Halloween opening so I thought I’d just write a post.
- You can use whatever instruments you want. Real or software is fine.
- You do not have to follow the established format. You can have SPEECH-QUOTE-SPEECH or just SPEECH-SPEECH or whatever. Also if you want to give the narration or have Randy say it later that’s fine.
- Openings should be no longer than 45 seconds. Anything longer will not be used.
I didn’t want to set up any restricting rules for this, but any longer than 45 seconds is just indulgent.
That’s it! If there’s any other concerns I’ll add them to this post. Get creating!
Episode XCVI: Ejection
You’re walking down a hallway. You look to your left, there’s no one there. You turn to your right and you see an envelope on top of a table. You open it only to find it full of sand. Then you wake up with stains on your crotch and bedsheets.
The question is, how do you know if you’re still dreaming? Are you dreaming now? DID I BLOW YOUR MIND!?!?!
So yeah this episode we talk about Inception (or did we? KICK). We also want lots of comments about the people you would jump into to (listen to the episodes for more info). We also answered a Canadian’s questions. Silly Canadian.
Also I’m finally opening the creation of our opening theme song to our listeners. I was going to make a new Halloween opening, but decided to give all of you a try instead. You’ve got till October 1st to send in entries, and the one we pick will be our new Halloween opening. Get your musical juices flowing! Do not fail me again Starscream.

Episode CXV: Lots-O the Bear Will Burn In Hell
Congratulations everyone who has waited these long months for a new episode, your patience has payed off. After a long hiatus of making episodes (self imposed because there were a lot of games I wanted to play) we’re finally rolling out new ones.
This week I’m joined by M as we discuss all the summer movies we’ve watched. We hit almost all of them except one, which will be discussed next week. The movie that gets discussed the most this episode is Toy Story 3 (just in case you didn’t get that from the episode title). We get pretty in depth, and there are spoilers galore so be warned. However if you haven’t seen the movie, what’s the matter with you? Go see it!
Also HOW THE HELL DO VAMPIRES WORK NOW?!? HOW?!?!?!
Click the link in the sidebar or refresh your player of choice to listen. Hope the episode has been worth the wait. I let it go about 20 minutes longer than a normal episode since we haven’t had one in a while.
Starcraft Delays Episode
Funny story. This weeks episode was all recorded and ready to go out. Then I started playing Starcraft, I’m playing through the first one since I recently picked it up from Best Buy. “It’s okay,” I thought “I’ve got four hours to edit the podcast. I’ll just play about thirty minutes of Starcraft and then edit the show. After all the mission can’t take that long.
Three and a half hours later I was still trying to take out the ion cannon and the episode still hadn’t been finished.
Moral of the story? If you make a podcast NEVER play Starcraft. The games just go on, and on, and on. Just when you think y0u’re ready to make your big push the computer counters with eighty siege tanks and a battle cruiser, leaving you a battered imitati0n of your original strike force.
It is a sad feeling friends. But it is war, and war is hell.
Speaking of Starcraft who picked up the squeal? I know Sir Michael did and we haven’t seen or heard from him since the game launched.
New Episodes Starting Soon

If you’ve been listening to Villainy INC for a while now, you know that for some odd reason summers are murder on this show. We usually go on hiatus, audio quality takes a massive hit, and I resort to drinking to dull the pain.
Well worry not our faithful listeners because it looks like the worst is behind us. I’ve just recorded a couple episodes with M and I’m going to try and schedule recordings with WK and SM (I’m far too lazy to type the full names) soon. I’ve also got my mixing board and microphone here, so I don’t have to use the “ghetto” setup of having a crappy logitech mic and turning the sensitivity up all the way.
Also the booze finally ran out so I’m finally sober enough to edit.
I don’t want to give a definant date, but they’ll most likly start airing next Friday. If not, the next Friday.
While finding a job and getting my paperwork in order really contributed to our absence, listed here are the real culprits behind the massive delay in episodes:
- Super Mario Galaxy 2
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Mass Effect 2
- Team Fortress 2
- Transformers: War for Cybertron
- Sin and Punishment: Star Succusor
- Resident Evil 4
Shame on you vidja games! Especially you Final Fantasy XIII! You took me 2 months to beat. That could have been 2 months of editing podcasts!
Episode CXIV: Shameless Plug Episode For Rapunzel’s Fight Knight Buy the Game Now On Xbox Live Arcade Right NOW!
Well that was a nice month off. Well I had time to edit this week so here’s episode 114 (do we really have that many?). Sadly the episode is nothing but us selling the game we were both involved with.
The game is Rapunzel’s Fight Knight and it features yours truly as the voice of the French Knight. Info about the game can be found here. The game retails for 240 Microsoft Points (I don’t know what that converts to dollars or other currencies). I’ve played the game and it’s a decent good time, especially with friends.
You can listen to the PR session in the player below.

I don’t want to scare anyone but I’m dying of a very serious disease called Testicletitus. I need money for an operation but sadly I spent all my money on this show. If all of you buy 20 copies of the game I could afford the operation and continue making the podcast. If each of you buys 40 copies of the game I’d make sure the episodes were decent. 60 and I’ll finally retire and leave this joke of a show behind and get away from all of you filthy cretins I call listeners. Oh shoot the backspace on my computer is broken so I have to leave that in. Awkward….
Next episode will end our long streak of pre-recorded episodes. That means M and I will record some and we’ll finally be able to respond to mail we’ve received and so on.
Thanks for bearing with us and enjoy the episode!

Episodes Delayed Until I Can Find Time To Edit Them
My apologies friends, romans, and countrymen. Working as a substitute teacher and finding a real job takes A LOT of time. I didn’t think it would require this much effort, but it does.
I don’t want to promise when episodes will go out because I’ll probably never make the deadlines (for now). So for a while now if an episode goes out, it means I had time that week to edit it together.
You can also blame Mass Effect 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for eating up my remaining free time.
Kiss Kiss
The Poor Bastard Who Has to Cut This Show Together Every Week.
Goodbye 2P Start.

There are two things that I find very rare on the internet, talent and hardwork. When a site comes along that has both I latch onto it immediatly, as was the case with 2P Start. As you all know I had Tim and Ray on episode 90 of the podcast. They were two of the nicest guys on the planet and were a pleasure to have on the show. I knew after listening to their podcasts and reading their comics that these were guys that worked hard to make quality content and that I wanted to chat with them.
Sadly 2P Start ended a couple days ago. It looked like it was headed that direction for a couple weeks and fears were confirmed with comic #171. The site was a shinning example of what webcomic artists, podcasters, and bloggers should try to be and I’ll be sad to see them go. I know we gained a lot of new listeners from Tim and Ray’s interview and for that I’m forever thankful.
Goodbye 2P Start. Our dastardly ensemble forever salutes you.
