Hey remember when Sir Michael had really bad Pokemon inuendo pun thingys?

Turns out someone beat him to the punch! And did a much better job!

Yes, he named all 151 Pokemon.

Sir Michael and I finished recording and are rearing for battle.

Minecraft appears to be the one everyone wants to play. However we’re open to more games if you wanna play.

If you see us online in the steam group send us a message that you’d like to play! We’ll be on almost all day!

So Sir Michael didn’t feel the need to tell me this until the last minute, but he’s in Texas. I swear the guy hops across the globe every week without telling everyone.

Since I had scheduled him to record for the weekend and he’s not home, there’s probably not going to be an episode this Monday. However, we’re all set to go for Saturday the 22nd. Seeing as Michael and I will be on to record, we’ll also be on to play games.

We’ll be on and rearing to play next Saturday. Although Sir Michael will probably leave for Cambodia for a week without telling anyone. (Don’t put it past him.)

Also it’s official…I’m hooked.

What are all these games the kids are into!?! Back in my day we had a stick and a ball. AND WE WERE HAPPY!

Seeing that these Vidja games are the wave of the future, Sir Michael went and made the official Villainy INC Steam group. For those of you who don’t know, Steam is what happens when Video Gaming, iTunes, and Facebook have an incredibly hot baby. It’s an app that allows you to buy games, keep them updated, and play them with friends. It runs on both PC and Mac.

Here’s some games that Sir Michael and I enjoy playing that we think you guys would love too. Also leave some comments on games you think we would like and we’ll try them out.

• Team Fortess 2 (or the Super Smash Bros of first person shooters as I like to call it)
• Left 4 Dead 2 (shoot zombies with friends and have a blast)
• Alien Swarm (great top down shooter. Did I mention it’s FREE!?!)
• Civilization IV (Sir Michael loves this one. I just dotter around the map as every nation on earth pilages me from every conceivable angle.)
• Dogfighter (incredibly cheap Star Fox-espe flying game)

Also some multiplayer games I have but never play.

• Counter Strike Source (I’ve only played like 20 min of this one, but I hear it’s fun.)
• Day of Defeat Source (same problem as Counter Strike)
• Half Life 2: Deathmatch (never tried it. Truth be told I don’t know how it ended up in my library.)

The year is 1998. Everyone at my school is fevorishly trying to catch them all. The number to catch is 150, no more, no less.

Then one of my friends declares heresy by claiming there is a 151st Pokemon. We threw him in prison for is blasphemous beliefs. Then through illegal game modification we find out the fool was right! Hidden in the game’s coding was a legendary Pokemon that at the time even Nintendo was claiming didn’t exist. However the true mark of a Pokemon master was if you could get your Mew legally. It didn’t help that Nintendo has always been stingy about giving away their treasured legendarys.

Well now all you need is an internet connection and you too can get a free Mew! Just use the Mystery Gift option with Nintendo WFC and you’ll be able to snag the small Psychic that was coveted by so many trainers back in the day. This is only going on until Oct 30th (in America) so get one today!

I’ve said this before on the podcast, but I’m a huge Tim Schafer fan. I think he’s a visionary if video game storytelling and he’s imaginative as all get out. I also think Christopher Nolan is one of this generations most visionary filmmakers. So what happens when you stick the two together? GENIUS!

Funny how great minds think alike. By the way if you’ve never played Psychonauts you’re missing out. It’s probably the best game you’ve never played. Pick it up on Steam or Xbox Live if you get a chance.

Funny story. This weeks episode was all recorded and ready to go out. Then I started playing Starcraft,  I’m playing through the first one since I recently picked it up from Best Buy. “It’s okay,” I thought “I’ve got four hours to edit the podcast. I’ll just play about thirty minutes of Starcraft and then edit the show. After all the mission can’t take that long.

Three and a half hours later I was still trying to take out the ion cannon and the episode still hadn’t been finished.

Moral of the story? If you make a podcast NEVER play Starcraft. The games just go on, and on, and on. Just when you think y0u’re ready to make your big push the computer counters with eighty siege tanks and a battle cruiser, leaving you a battered imitati0n of your original strike force.

It is a sad feeling friends. But it is war, and war is hell.

Speaking of Starcraft who picked up the squeal? I know Sir Michael did and we haven’t seen or heard from him since the game launched.

Here’s the video podcast I promised you all. Miss Chevious is taking a class at the U of U where she gets to make a video game for Xbox Live. I’m pretty sure this could be the greatest class ever. It would be second only to “How to eat ice cream class.”

I’ll be providing the voice for the French Knight Sir Henry De Chatillon in the finished game. I also tried out for Merlin and Miss Chevious tried out for Rapunzel. Watch the video to see how that went.

I’ll do another video podcast in April. I would have done one this month but I got busy editing this one instead. Enjoy!
